The FLC is an extreme duty slurry control valve, specifically developed for use in flashtank level control applications in the alumina refining industry.

Features & Benefits:

  • Robust construction.
  • Heavy duty body wall thickness exceeds ASME B16.34.
  • Full reparability with replaceable internals that significantly extend valve life.
  • Extended body for protection of downstream piping.
  • Chrome Iron Internals (optional Tungsten Carbide coating).
  • Swing through disc for minimal leakage at elevated temperatures.
  • Wing-style disc for optimum flow and wear resistance.
  • Venturi liner for improved flow control and thicker liner for longer life.
  • Live loaded disc end spacer packing to prevent the ingress of media into the bearing journals.
  • Improved end cap seal utilizing either a spiral wound gasket or secondary O-ring.
  • SSEC (Synergestic Surface Enhancement Coating) or Nitrided stainless steel bearings.
  • Available with automatic grease lubrication to prevent shaft seizure inside the bearing journals.
  • High temperature packing, o-rings and bearings allowing for operating temperatures up to 320°C.
  • Standardised mounting and drive adaptor connection allowing direct mounting of Keystone actuators and also allows for actuator removal while valve in-line.
  • Documentation to EN 10204 Type 3.1.
  • Manufactured under quality system ISO 9001:2000. Certificate No Mel 0400133.
  • Available with PED approval. Cert No: 0038/PED/MUM/0710020/1.
